Dexter's Lab first received four comic book volumes by DC comics in 1997. The Cartoon Cartoons also got their own comic book series.  

DC would later give Dexter his own full comic book series in 2003, which ran for over 30 issues.

Many years later, Dexter would make his big return in the comic world, like Invader Zim got a comic revival Rugrats as well., IDW released  a new series on Dexter comics in 2014.

I got an issue for my birthday this year and I can't recommended these comics enough. There's stuff in these comics that only true Dexter fans can get, and people say Cartoon Network doesn't care about their old fans, well this is proof they do!
